RAVE Aerospace and Safran Seats have jointly introduced a premium cabin concept, “Origin,” at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026, combining seating and in-flight entertainment technologies in a dual demonstrator format.
The concept consists of two complementary installations, with Safran Seats focusing on the physical suite design and RAVE Aerospace presenting digital and inflight entertainment applications. The collaboration reflects increasing integration between seat design and cabin electronics in premium aircraft interiors.

“Future display technologies are about more than just consuming content. They enable curated experiences, whether that’s deep immersion or the ability to escape into environments beyond the physical,” said Ben Asmar, Vice President Products and Strategy at RAVE Aerospace.
A central feature of the concept is an immersive display system based on a U-shaped micro-LED screen integrated within the suite. The display is designed to create an adaptable visual environment, allowing adjustments to lighting, content and ambience within the passenger space.

The Safran Seats demonstrator incorporates seat-based technologies, including dynamic cushion pressure adjustment and localized temperature control. Additional elements include adaptive lighting systems and integrated stowage solutions. The concept also features an updated version of Safran’s “Euphony” audio system, which delivers sound without the need for headphones.
“Our ambition is to redefine the future of premium travel,” says Jean-Christophe Gaudeau, VP Marketing at Safran Seats. “With Origin, we bring together seating innovation and future display technologies to create an immersive, adaptive environment that puts comfort, well‑being and passenger control at the forefront.”
The RAVE Aerospace installation focuses on the digital layer of the concept, demonstrating how content delivery, user interfaces and display technologies can be integrated into the cabin environment. This includes the use of transparent displays and interactive interfaces aimed at enabling personalised passenger engagement within the suite.
