SOGECLAIR, in collaboration with Stellantis Design Studio and Tailwinds Consulting, has launched “VISTA,” a front-row business class cabin demonstrator, at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 in Hamburg.
The concept focuses on applying business jet design approaches to commercial aircraft cabins, combining mechanical systems, cabin layout, and passenger interface design within a single front-row suite configuration.
VISTA incorporates a semi-automatic privacy door with combined vertical and horizontal motion, as well as an integrated storage system that converts the front-row seat area into a compact suite. This includes a full-height wardrobe, dedicated compartments for personal items, and integrated storage around the adjacent seat structure.

The demonstrator also features a dual-table arrangement, with two independent surfaces intended to support dining and work simultaneously. The tables are designed to deploy separately and provide a greater usable surface area than conventional single-table layouts.
According to the companies, the concept emphasises concealed or low-visibility mechanisms, with systems designed to remain stowed until required. The approach aims to reduce visual complexity in the cabin while maintaining functionality.
Material and design choices in the demonstrator include furniture-style forms and the use of wood and leather finishes, reflecting a shift toward residential-style cabin interiors in premium classes.
Tailwinds Consulting contributed to the project by assessing feasibility, certification considerations, and airline operational requirements, intending to align the concept with commercial aviation constraints.
The VISTA demonstrator is being exhibited during the show as part of ongoing industry efforts to explore new layouts and features for premium cabin products, particularly in the business class segment.
