Bombardier has introduced a new bespoke cabin interior concept for its Global 8000 business jet, developed in collaboration with luxury lifestyle brand ELIE SAAB.
The new cabin design was unveiled at Bombardier’s Aviator Lounge in Monaco during the Formula 1 Grand Prix and is being offered as an optional interior configuration for Global 8000 customers.
The project combines Bombardier’s aircraft cabin engineering with ELIE SAAB’s interior design expertise, resulting in a redesigned cabin environment featuring custom materials, architectural detailing and a reconfigured living space concept.

According to Bombardier, the collaboration began while the Global 8000 programme was already progressing toward certification, allowing both companies to focus on adapting the interior without affecting the aircraft’s operational and performance requirements.
“When we began discussions with ELIE SAAB, the Global 8000 was already well on the path to becoming a certified, operational aircraft. This allowed us to go beyond concepts and rethink the cabin as a true living space, while fully respecting the performance and operational realities of the aircraft,” said Éric Martel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier.
The interior features a neutral colour palette, enlarged sightlines, natural light optimisation and a central lounge area designed to support passenger comfort during long-range flights. The design approach focuses on creating a residential-style environment while meeting the certification, safety and weight requirements associated with business aviation interiors.
Bombardier said its engineering teams worked closely with ELIE SAAB throughout the development process to ensure the couture-inspired design elements could be integrated into a fully certifiable aircraft cabin.
For ELIE SAAB, the project marks an expansion of the brand’s design activities beyond fashion and residential interiors into the business aviation sector.
“With Bombardier, we approached this collaboration with a haute couture mindset, elevating every material and detail into a carefully curated expression of luxury, precision and design excellence,” said Elie Saab Jr., CEO of ELIE SAAB.
The bespoke cabin concept is now available as an option for customers of the Global 8000, Bombardier’s flagship ultra-long-range business jet programme.
