Air Cambodia has become the launch customer for ATR’s latest Business Class product on the ATR 72-600, featuring the new ‘X-Space Table’, a dual-class seat concept that converts from a standard twin economy layout to a single premium seat within minutes.

The product is targeted for certification in Q1 2027 and will be retrofitted to Air Cambodia’s newly delivered ATR 72-600. The aircraft will feature four Business Class seats in a 1-1 configuration, offering each passenger direct aisle and window access, increased privacy, and dedicated stowage.

X-Space Table forms part of ATR HighLine, the high-end cabin collection introduced in 2023. Designed for flexible fleet operations, the seating system enables rapid removal and installation, allowing operators to switch between full-economy and dual-class layouts to meet seasonal demand, charter opportunities or premium-focused routes with minimal downtime.

“We are eager to introduce a new Business Class offering across our ATR fleet, as it will enable Air Cambodia to offer a more refined travel experience while maintaining operational agility,” said David Zhan, Vice Chairman and CEO of Air Cambodia.

“The X-Space Table reflects ATR’s DNA of versatility, creating new opportunities for ancillary revenue and improved passenger comfort,” added Nathalie Tarnaud Laude, CEO of ATR.

Air Cambodia joins a growing number of carriers adopting ATR HighLine cabins, demonstrating rising demand for elevated regional travel experiences. The portfolio ranges from dual-class to VIP layouts for boutique airlines, semi-private operators, luxury resorts and government transportation.

ATR highlights that its aircraft produce 45% less CO₂ per trip than regional jets of similar size, enabling operators to target high-end markets while maintaining strong sustainability performance.
