Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will introduce its Airbus A350 aircraft on the Zurich–Seoul route from 29 March 2026, marking the first deployment of the airline’s new long-haul aircraft and ‘SWISS Senses’ cabin concept in Asia.
The service will represent the debut of the redesigned A350 cabin in the Korean market and the first time the SWISS Senses product is offered on an Asian route. The A350 is the first aircraft in the SWISS fleet to feature a fully redesigned interior across all travel classes.

The SWISS Senses concept spans First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class, with changes focused on increased personal space, improved privacy and updated cabin technology. Design elements reflect contemporary Swiss aesthetics, with a consistent visual and material language throughout the aircraft.

In First Class, SWISS has introduced new Single Suite and Suite Plus configurations, offering fully enclosed private spaces and expanded personal areas. Business Class features five different seat types—Classic Seat, Privacy Seat, Extra Long Bed Seat, Extra Space Seat and Business Suite—allowing for differentiated seating options within the same cabin.

Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins have also been redesigned, incorporating updated seating, materials and lighting to improve comfort on long-haul flights.
A key feature of the new A350 cabin is the introduction of a “Human Centric Lighting” system, designed to support passenger well-being and help mitigate the effects of jet lag on long-haul sectors. The lighting concept works alongside a calmer cabin environment and modernised interior finishes.
Beyond physical cabin elements, SWISS Senses includes updates to onboard service, including revised tableware, menus and service flows across all classes. While service enhancements sit outside traditional cabin hardware, they form part of the overall interior experience strategy.

According to SWISS, Korea has been selected as the first Asian market for the A350 and SWISS Senses rollout due to strong premium demand on the Seoul–Zurich route. The introduction forms part of the airline’s broader long-haul fleet and product renewal programme, with additional A350 deployments expected on other intercontinental routes.
The aircraft will operate as part of the 2026 summer schedule, replacing existing widebody equipment on the route.
