West Star Aviation has completed its 175th installation of Starlink in-flight connectivity systems across its business aviation fleet customer base, a milestone achieved in January 2026 through installations conducted at its nationwide US facilities, reflecting rising demand for high-speed, low-latency internet connectivity in modern aircraft interiors, delivered through customised avionics and cabin connectivity integration programmes.
The milestone underscores the accelerating role of in-flight connectivity as a core component of business aviation cabin experience rather than a supplementary feature. As passenger expectations evolve, reliable internet access is increasingly influencing aircraft interior upgrades, refurbishment decisions, and new cabin configurations.
Starlink’s low-Earth orbit satellite architecture enables consistent connectivity across long-range routes, including oceanic operations and remote regions. This capability supports both passenger productivity and operational communications, aligning with the connectivity requirements of business and VIP aircraft operators.

West Star Aviation provides Starlink installation capability across its full-service MRO and avionics network, allowing operators to integrate connectivity upgrades alongside scheduled maintenance events, interior refurbishments, or broader cabin modernisation programmes.
According to the company, demand for advanced connectivity solutions continues to grow as operators seek seamless integration between avionics, digital cabin systems, and passenger-facing technologies. Connectivity is increasingly linked with smart cabin features, real-time data access, and enhanced in-flight entertainment and communication services.
With in-flight connectivity now viewed as a key differentiator in aircraft interior value and operational efficiency, the completion of 175 Starlink installations highlights the expanding role of MROs in delivering integrated cabin and connectivity solutions for the business aviation market.
